The 2nd FATE Foundation
Annual Alumni Conference

About the conference

FATE Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in March, 2000 by Mr. Fola Adeola (Founder & Pioneer Managing Director, GTBank) with a mission to foster wealth creation by promoting business and entrepreneurial development among Nigerians. Since inception, we have graduated over 5,200 entrepreneurs from our Aspiring and Emerging Entrepreneurs Programmes and trained over 40,000 Nigerians in our short entrepreneurship Certificate courses. We have also enabled over 72,000 Nigerian youths on the path to entrepreneurship. About 65% of our alumni are actively running their businesses and most are beneficiaries of FATE’s business and alumni support services.

Building on our 17 year experience in entrepreneurship and enterprise development, we initiated the Annual FATE Alumni Conference last year as a platform for our alumni to learn from entrepreneurial leaders and influencers; share knowledge about key topical areas to grow and thrive as entrepreneurs; while also giving them an opportunity to network and connect with one another. Our inaugural Alumni conference last year focused on “The Road to Sustainable Growth for Nigeria Entrepreneurs”. Building on this background and as a means to foster a sense of community and tradition, the 2nd Annual FATE Alumni Conference scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 27th of September, 2017 will focus on the theme “Unlocking the Growth Potential of MSMEs through Partnerships and Innovation”.
